Ingredients
For the Spice Mix
- 2 Tbsp Jerk Seasoning
- 1 Tsp Smoked Paprika
- 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Tsp Onion Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Dried Thyme
For the Shrimp
- 1 Pound Shrimp, Deveined, Peeled
- 1/3 Spice Mix
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 1 Tsp Chili Flakes
For the Pasta
- 1/2 Pound Pasta
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 1 Small Red Onion, Sliced
- 1 Small Bell Pepper, Sliced
- 5 Cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1/3 Cup Dry White Wine
- 1 Lemon, Juiced and Zested
- 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
- 1/4 Cup Parsley, Minced
Instructions
For the Spice Mix
- 1
Add all of the spices to a small bowl and combine.
For the Shrimp

Add 1/3 of the Spice Mix and olive oil to thawed shrimp.

Heat a pan on high, add 2 tablespoons of butter, and chili flakes. Add shrimp.

Cook shrimp for 3-4 minutes or until fully firm. Remove to a bowl.
For the Pasta
- 1
Cook the pasta according to the box in heavily salted water.

Using the same pan as the shrimp, add in 2 more tablespoons or butter on medium heat.

Add the onion, pepper, and garlic to the butter. Sauté for 3-4 minutes or until soft.

Add in the white wine, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Sauté until liquid reduces.

Turn the heat on low and add the heavy cream. Combine well.

Add in the cooked pasta and about 1/3 cup of pasta water. Cook on high for 2-3 minutes.

Add back in the shrimp and combine well.

Garnish with parsley and enjoy!
