Chilli Chicken is a fiery, flavorful fusion dish that blends the bold spices of Indian cuisine with the tangy, umami-packed flavors of Chinese cooking. Crispy fried chicken is tossed in a spicy soy-garlic sauce with onions, peppers, and green chilies—perfect as a starter or a main with fried rice or noodles.

Ingredients
For the Chicken
- 1 Pound Chicken Tenders, Tendon Removed
- 3 Tbsp Corn Starch
- 3 Tbsp All Purpose Flour
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1/2 Tsp Chili Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
For the Sauce
- 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 3 Tbsp Ketchup
- 1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
- 2 Tbsp Sriracha
- 1 Tsp Honey
- 1 Tsp Dark Soy Sauce
For the Chilli Chicken
- 4 Tbsp Avocado Oil
- 1 Red Onion, Cubed
- 1 Green Bell Pepper, Cubed
- 3 Stalks Green Onion
- 1 Tbsp Grated Garlic
- 1/2 Tbsp Grated Ginger
- 1/2 Tbsp Grated Green Chilies

For the Chicken

Slice the tenders into thin strips. Add the seasoning, cornstarch, and flour, Mix really well.

In a large skillet, heat avocado oil.

Add the chicken and cook on medium heat for around 10 minutes. Toss frequently. Remove onto a paper towel once golden brown.
For the Sauce

Whisk all of the sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
For the Chilli Chicken

In a large skillet, add avocado oil and heat on high.

Once heated, add the red onion, bell pepper, and the whites of the green onion. Sauté for 2-3 minutes on high heat.

Add in the ginger, garlic, and green chili. Sauté until slightly browned.

Add in the cooked chicken and mixed sauce.

Mix well on high heat until the chicken is slightly charred.

Garnish with the greens of the green onions and enjoy!
